    Hi Guys, New here

    Hi folks :)

Im new here, but i do like my watches. I currently have a £200 citizen eco-drive WR200.

Ive been wanting something a little more....classy for want of a better word

Only found out about Stowa's a few weeks ago and have been doing a lot of reading around, I like the MO with roman numerals the best :)

Are they all numbered on the back? I know the LE's are but ive seen some pictures of normal MO's that have a number on the back too, so just wondered if they are all numbered?

Im a little nervous about blowing £800 odd on a watch, but I appriciate Stowa are very good and very much worth waiting for :)

Not yet placed an order, but probably will do at the end of next month. It will be the white face with romans for me :)

    Cheers
    James

    Cheers Ben :)

Also payment, do you pay when you order, or pay when the watch is made and ready to ship? I notice its paypal only, which is no problem for me :)

    Cheers
    James

    Hi James,

The regular MO's do have a serial number. I even requested and got a number significant to me.

You only pay for your Stowa when it's ready for dispatch. (If you're lucky enough to get one of their limited editions, then a reservation deposit is normally requested).

As good as Citizen are, the comparison to a Stowa is like comparing a Ford to a Ferrari - both are cars but that's where the similarity ends.

Unlike buying a watch off the shelf in a shop - buying a Stowa is like buying a bespoke tailored suit.
Your Stowa is made when you order it - not collected from the stock room. You can communicate with Stowa themselves - a certain amount of special request is often (but not always possible) and you buy a watch which will actually pass through Jorg Schauer's hands before being sent out to you.

I have a nice citizens Eco drive, and while they are electro-tech marvels, there is no comparison to the workmanship and micro-mechanical tech, of a nice Auto.

And Stowa's are very nice autos, and a terrific value.

This thread need pics to emphasize the point.

    Welcome,

Stowa's are great watches and in my opinion the best value for your money. If you are patient you can find a nice used Stowa on the sales corner, but you got to be quick as the MO usually sells pretty fast.

    Hi mate,

My MO has numbers on the back and isnt the LE. I see you are in the Midlands, I am in Solihull, so and have a few Stowa's. If you wanted to see the MO in the flesh I would be happy for you to see it/try it on.
