I don;t like my new MO......

.....quite as much as I like my Antea 390.

Took delivery today of my new MO, and Antea 390 COSC, love the MO, it\s a joy to hold it, but nothing prepared me for the beauty that is the Antea, wow, stunning watch, love the colour of the dial and the delicate hands, the MO will have to wait a while as i haven't taken the Antea off yet.

Thanks to all at Stowa for these wonderful timepieces, can;t wait on my pro diver now, and when funds allow I've promised myself a 1938 Chrono, exceptional timepieces.

watch collectors are such a fickle group :) It's difficult to tell if you're going to enjoy a watch by photos, sometimes holding and trying on a watch is the best way to see if it is the one. Good luck!

    Hey Prof,

Congrats with the new watches man, they are both well worth the money spent.

You will not regret getting the 1938, that watch will become an instant classic.
I am thinking of getting the black 1983 too, being so very nice as well.

    Cheers,

    CT

Thanks CT, the 1938 will be a bit longer to save the funds methinks.

I don't normally keep track of a watches accuracy, but had the Antea on for last two days, can't take it off, but it being a Chronometer i thought I'd measure it, nothing too scientific, just using Emerald and Sequoia on an iPhone, first 24 hours it was bang on, or fractions at most, day two at same time, it's around half a second slow, I'm pretty happy with that. :D

If i had to have only one watch then i reckon it would be my Antea 390 COSC on it's croco band with deployant, tried leather last night, but went back to croco sharpish, so soft, anyone dithering wether to get crocodile bands or not, trust me you won't be dissapointed, well worth the xetra cost.
