Relax guys, I assure you my heading wasn't indecent. :)
I got this for the missus' birthday at the end of May.
Please pardon my horrible pics from phone and cheapo camera.
Here's the story:
Opens up to reveal a white box with lid:
And later an aluminium box:
TADAAA! Creme me!
It's a very nice watch. The lady is very happy with her birthday gift although it missed the actual day by a week. I ordered in Oct2010 knowing that delivery was in late May2011. Oh well, as long as she's happy!
The Antea Creme has a such a simple and clean face. No elaborate chapter rings and a thin bezel.
The caseback showing the 2824-2. Blue screws and signed rotor.
Nicely engraved crown.
The rather unusual "straight" lugs and "Made in Germany" text.
All in all a very well made watch from Stowa. I remember reading somewhere in this forum that Jorg personally checks EVERY watch that rolls out from their office. If this is still the practice, I must say I am damn proud to purchase a watch that has been "touched" by the man himself. :)
I hope to write a full scale review when I learn better photo techniques.
