I miss the good old days

Jorg has got to be happy with all the success and popularity that Stowa has had in these past years. Only 51 minutes to sell out a limited run of 100. Yes I know I must sound like your old grandfather telling stories from his youth, but I remember when Jorg would do limited runs (only a short 4-5 years ago) and it would take a few months or longer to sell out. I am glad I was able to get in early on some of my Stowa watches. Has Stowa changed with it's increased popularity or maybe I just getting older?.

I broke out one of my Stowa Marines limited editions and just marvel the decorated movement.

I totally agree and just want to know:
What other treasuries of Stowa / Schuaer do you have in your box

By the way is it a 2801 movement?

I suppose that we should be grateful that there is such an acceptance of his watches now.

However, as you say, it is going to be a lottery now to get hold of future watches! Shame.

Can you imagine the chaos if Stowa ever issues another Marine Chronograph LE

I would be first in line for that!

Why are you unhappy that a brand, several of whose watches you own, has gone from relative obscurity to becoming much more popular? We should be happy for STOWA's success as a successful business increases the chance of even nicer watches/movements being released in the future! If the STOWA brand hadn't been successful, do you think that Joerg could invest in the new DUROWE movements?
