    German watches are great

I find German watches to be equally as well made as their Swiss counterpart for a fraction of the price if they use the common ETA movements. I own Tutima, Sinn, and now Stowa, Stowa is my favorite now because of the personal attention Jorg gives his clients. You cannot go wrong with a Stowa.

If you prefer an in-house movements, then Swiss has a lot more options. But I also like Lange a lot, their movements and watches are beautiful, despite being more expensive.
