    I Schauer-ed twice this year

I had the pleasure of Schauer-ing twice this year - once in the beginning of the year with Edition 10 piece unique, and again in summer when Mrs. surprised me with Einzeiger rhodium dial with rose gold hand.

I have changed the straps on both the watches to Toshi straps. They are not only comfortable, but match well with the dial.

Edition 10 is my everyday watch for office, weekends, and even for travel.

The Einzeiger is more a special occasion watch. It is elegant and can be pulled off with "festive" clothes. There is something so unique about the combination of rhodium dial and warm rose gold hand. Speaking about festive, I had the pleasure to wear to Oktoberfest earlier this month.

As I get closer to my 50th, I am contemplating on taking the next Schauer. I am open to your recommendations.

    Cheers,
    Bhanu

I would go for an Automatik if they still do one.The Quarada is an acquired taste and the only Schauer model I have not owned.

I'm digging the edition 9 in black. It's like my ultimate, have it all watch.

Not sure if it's still selling and how much it cost. Really need to budget for it.

You get a like not only for the photos of your watches but for that big beer and your clever play on words.

The Quadra is an interesting watch, but I will have to see it in-person. Edition 9 is also nice, but I am satisfied with Edition 10.

Did Schauer ever make a tourbillon? I have to think something crazy for the 50th!

    Cheers,

I think there was a minute repetition mentioned in the Stowa history booklet.

    Great watches and pics, Bhanu!

It looks like the gent in the background could use a watch on his left wrist--perhaps it would make him more successful with the ladies...
