    the regular style sweeping second hand

    Although Stowa does not offer a Flieger with sub-dial, you may like the Marine Original which has the same case. If not, you may like Laco.

    However, I would not advise a Flieger with a sub-dial.

    Have you ever seen any Fleiger without a second-hand? That tiny second-hand subdial is virtually the same thing to a pilot.

    Someone correct me if I am wrong, pilots required the use of a very visible second-hand for timing flying maneuvers. A sub-dial second hand is almost impossible to see if what you are doing requires a quick glance to see where the second hand is at a particular moment.

    I have to correct you. Stowa DID exyctly 42 pieces of the "Style B" Flieger.
    One is shown in the Stowa Museum.
