    Identify small pocket Stowa

    Hi everyone!

I need some help to identify this watch. I came across it at a flea market in Sweden, and I think it's beautiful, but would love to know more about it.

    What I know:
    • Hand Wound.
    • Gold plated or some other yellowish metal.
    • Diameter of about 25 mm.
    • Everything's working fine.

Please tell me if you want more photos or have any questions.

1950s would be my guess. To me it looks like a chrome plated brass case. Not gold plated.
    Kind regards

    Hello rednakiw,

I own an identical one for some years now.
It is driven by a very reliable FHF 69-INT:
    bidfun-db Archiv: Uhrwerke: FHF 69-INT
Referring to the dial, its structure (vertical stripes) and the logo I would rather rate this pendant watch to be produced in the early Eighties.
My watch's case is of gold plated metal, not chrome plated.
Next week I will select a handful of these watches from my collection and show some pics,

Your watch isn't a 'pocket watch' - rather a piece of jewelry. The small loop is made to draw a (longer) necklace through,

Is that loop actually part of the watch or did a jeweler attach it?

Do a google picture search. Lots of similar watches.

Some of these kind of watches wear their pendant placed at the '6' - or the dial is rotated through 180 °.
So the ladies could pick up the watch on the necklace and read the time without turning the watch around,
