    Hello SteveG,

    welcome to the Stowa Forum

the Observer Watch is a real beauty (except the Bad sign on the case )
it's in a very good condition.
the observer Watch was made in 1942 for the German Navy,
i would like to know what the letters "KM" above the Stowa writing means.

it's possible that Jörg Schauer or Konrad Knirim (expert for Military Watches)
    are knowing more about it

    HI Andreas,

    I think "KM" means "Kriegsmarine".

That's a very, very nice watch - great condition and it seems to be all original (and in that case you have to deal with the engravings). It's a german military watch from that time, one just can't help it.

    Greets,
    Andreas

    Greets,
    Andreas

I agree with Andreas that the logical conclusion is that it stands for the Kriegsmarine, but that's just an educated guess.

SteveG: An absolutely beautiful watch and a real piece of history. Congratulations!
