Joining the ranks of the Stowatisti!

    Thank you for your Order
Your order confirmation number is: 715

Is 'Stowatisti," a word? Regardless, after much deliberation, I ordered a Flieger w/black leather band. No logo or date, of course, as I felt it was the historically appropriate thing to do.

Hopefully, Stowa doesn't mind me using their picture:

I don't post much, but do appreciate the wealth of information shared on this forum - Which greatly aided in my decision process. I'm excited as this is my first 'nice' watch purchase - Being a WWII buff, the choice was inevitable. There may also be a Damasko in my future, but for now, I'm very content.

    Congrats!

I have the same model and can tell you if you haven't owned a Stowa before be prepared fro your expectations to be exceeded by leaps and bounds. I've owned hundreds of watches but the Flieger is something special. From the blued hands, to the rotor, to the exquisite case back, to the lume, it is the complete package. I love mine.

    Hi Sam,

Thanks for the reply - those pictures look fantatstic. I have been looking at watches for sometime now, and was initially lusting after a black sinn u1, then I decided on a Damasko DA36 in black (may still get one eventually), but after much deliberation, pulled the trigger on the Stowa... I find their utilitarian simplicity very appealing.

Now, the wait begins, but their site says delivers to be expected by the end of May, hopefully they mean 2011, LOL.

    Hi Steve,

your decision is right! It won't be your only Stowa - there are many to join the first one.

Is 'Stowatisti," a word? Regardless, after...
I can't judge, but I would rather prefer "Stowaholic" - describing most members' state here.... (including myself, of course ).

If you need some more reasons to keep on choosing Stowa watches, have a look here:

We want to see pics as soon as your watch arrives,

    Hallo Volker,

Thanks for the warm welcome, I'm very excited as I've been researching watches for some time now..The Stowa looks to be perfect - and pictures will be posted as soon as it arrives. Their site says that deliver should be around the end of May, so the wait shouldn't be too bad. Thanks again for the welcome.

Welcome to the Stowa forum Steve!

You will LOVE your Stowa Flieger. I have been hooked to Stowa watches ever since I found them. I love my Flieger the most out of all the watches in my collection. Great built and quality. The blue hands are exquisite and the 40mm size is perfect. Simple but it has the subtle beauty underneath it.

Here is mine. Post some pictures when you get yours!

Thanks for the warm welcome and the picture. I was wondering if those of you that live in the US had to sign for the watch when it was delivered? I'm not home during the day so this may present an issue. I guess I could just pick it up at Fedex. Thanks again.
