    Jorg! You're killing me!!

I got your email and I can't believe you are offering to make more of my grail (Edition 10) right now when it's the absolute worst time possible for me to come up with the money! Oh well, worst case is that more are going to be on the secondary market hopefully. Damn man! Been wanting one of those for a lot of years.

Great on you for making some more though! Cheers!

    Limited Schauer watches available again!

New concept for popular Schauer watches.

Since 1990 Jörg Schauer has been building his very special watches with a great deal of real handicraft. Since 1996, he also owns the STOWA brand, which has been continuously evolved ever since. This always costs a lot of his available time. In recent years, therefore, only a few Schauer watches have been built.

In order to be able to offer some of his popular watches again in the future, he has now developed a new concept. Jörg Schauer will continue to build some of his watches, but will then concentrate on building a specific model. This makes it easier for him to make his watches and we can therefore aim for a binding delivery date for a very limited number of watches.

Before summer (delivery date end of July 2019) he will build a few watches of his classic Chronograph Kulisse Edition 10. In autumn, some Chronograph Kulisse Edition 12 watches will be delivered at the end of September 2019.

Three Schauer Chronograph Kulisse Editions 15 from the Limited Germany Edition are currently being produced (delivery date end of May). With green 30 minute hand and green second hand.

At the end of June 2019, three single-hand watches from the 44 mm series will be built. Jörg Schauer has now developed a new in-house bridge for the Unitas 6498 movement.

If you are interested in one of the models you can order it in our onlineshop.

Other models from the Schauer collection will be built according to the same principle in the future.

If you are interested in another Schauer model, we will be happy to include you in our list of interested parties and will contact you as soon as we have your desired model planned.

Thank you very much for your interest and see you soon!

Your STOWA Team and Jörg Schauer

The Schauer classic! Schauer Chronograph Kulisse Edition 10. Automatic chronograph movement Valjoux 7753. 42 mm case.

Schauer Chronograph Kulisse Edition 12. Automatic chronograph movement Valjoux 7753. 41 mm case.

On request, Jörg Schauer modifies the Valjoux 7753 automatic chronograph calibre to a hand-wound movement and manufactures an exclusive new hand-wound bridge in-house. This is a further increase in exclusivity - there are only a few hand-wound chronograph calibres left on the watch market!

Schauer Chronograph Kulisse Edition 15 in 44 mm case.

The limited Schauer single hand 44 with the rebuilt Unitas 6498 movement. 44 mm case. Jörg Schauer also modifies the bridge for the Unitas 6498 with a deep engraving. All work is done in-house at STOWA!

I think I am ready to ask Stowa to offer payment plan! There are never enough Schauers in the collection.....I hope after selling out of these models, Joerg will think about a new design and complication as well. I personally prefer Joerg's design over newer designs of Hartmut Esslinger.

I’m with ya on this one. The Edition 10 is fantastic. Both me and my AMEX card are glad that it’s too large for my wrist.
My collection changes so often I got tired of redoing my signature

I'm kinda think it it slightly too big for Single Hand.
44mm is same size as Panerai with less case , dial's going to be huge.

BTW: Edition 12 is super stunning, seems like Jorg did groovy details on bezel connected to sapphire, not flat like Edition 10.

That is my concern too. I had one in my cart, ready to check out until I recognized that 44mm seems quite large for this style of watch. It might be OK, but without seeing it in person or at least good wrist shots, I'm not willing to gamble the $2200. Bit of a shame, but my pocketbook is ok with the result.

    Arg.
Just sent an email and might go for one, even if I didn't want any new watch this year...

An edition 12 would be a great! All the other being too big for me (which is good for my bank account).
