    Just arrived but...

Hi there, my family bought airman with date for me. They arrived couple days ago but they do not work and there is something rattling in them. They are in Czech Republic and Im in Australia it is a present for me and my brother is coming in two weeks but I suppose it is short time for repair. Or should they do something special with them? Thank you for all advice

It sounds like they do not know how to use automatic watches. It's the rotor which "rattles" inside.

All automatic watches rattle. They need to be wound and then worn or put on a winder to keep it going

What about when I don't wear them one week? I need to wind them again?

Yes, if you are not going to wear it (or keep it on a winder), then it will stop after a day or two. So, to wear it at a later time, you will need to rewind it. That's the sacrifice we make in order to have a precision machine that does not rely on batteries!
