Looking for information on my Vintage Stowa Pocket Watch

    Hello All!

I was given a vintage gold Stowa Pocket Watch by my grandmother. Since I love history, I like to know the background of things. I've spent several hours searching online for information on this watch and can't find anything, so I thought I'd post here and see if anyone can help me.

Please note: I AM not looking to sell it. I just want information on its history.

It's gold (don't know how many karats), 17 Jewels, made by Stowa and it still works quite well. If I had to guess at the age of the watch, I'd put it somewhere around WWII.

Below are you 2 photos of it.

If you have any information at all or can direct me to a useful website, I'd truly appreaciate it.

    Thanks!

If it is gold there must be a stamp on the case back (333, 585 or 750) or inside the cover.
I doubt it is WW II, more likely 60ties/70ties according to the design. The movement probably is swiss made an engraved with the Stowa logo.
