Ha, you posted this one just a few hours late; I've sent an e-mail to Stowa asking essentially the same questions (plus a few more). Looks like there is yet another watch purchase in my immediate future. Does it ever stop?

Unlike most, I do not sell pieces to fund the next purchase (let alone pieces I haven't received yet) - if I don't have the funds, I just don't make the purchase. I realize that I have way more watches than I can wear. Some get very little wrist time and my favorites not enough. Still, I have a hard time letting watches go. What doesn't help is the experiences I've had with the very few sales (and attempts to sell) that I've had.

Just wondering if anyone has actual pics of the MO in silver dial and with roman numerals/matt case

thanks! I am considering one with a silver dial + matt case + arabic numerals (just like the historical pocket watch). Just didn't know if it would work easily as a dressy watch and be able to dress it down with jeans etc.

This watch is very versatile that way. I usually have it looking casual with brown or black leather straps with stitching. I like this configuration with the Staib mesh a lot. I think the Roman numerals MO is obviously dressier looking than the Arabic, but the Arabic I feel can also hold its own very well in that context.

How do people feel about the black dialed Marines? Do they make a Unitas Marine with a black dial??

Here's mine. I have only had it for six weeks, or so. Really like it a lot - especially the hands. They were an option that I preferred over the white hands.

As others have noted, Stowa upgraded their website within the last 48 hours or so, and black dial MO's no longer appear as available. As others have also noted, they likely still have a few kinks to work out regarding content and website linking, so IMO the jury's still out as to whether they are discontinuing production of black dial MO's, or not. I hope not. If they have, I'm sure glad I got mine when I did.

    What strap is this/where from?

I have a MO Blue in order and this would pair very nicely.
