Question Marine Original silver vs white dial?

I've never had the silver dialed version of the MO. Is there a huge difference in color between the two?

Does anyone have side my side photos per chance?

    Thanks.

Mines are Marine automatic instead of Marine original. I’d say the silver dial doesn’t not look much of a difference comparing the white dial in the picture.

However, it looks stunning in person.

Thanks for the photos. Looks like a softer white. Almost creme. Do you prefer it over the white?

I think they are different on their own. Both of my marines were delivered with matt finishing. In my opinion, the white one looks more casual while the silver appeared to be sport-elegance.

The case / finishing of Marine Original are different from Marine auto so the overall impression may be a little different.

My opinion is to go for the silver dial. It is low profile and won’t scream at you. However, you will appreciate the work Stowa has done on silvering the dial when comparing with other watches with white dial.

    Hope this helps.

The white is a stark white, kind of stands out. The silver can appear different in different light, sometimes cream/beige/silver. My White is with Roman, and Silver with Arabic. I do prefer the silver.

I know you are looking at the MO, but I think the dials on that and the MA are both solid silver, so the look should be comparable. I love the subtle shimmer and changing appearance of my sterling dial MA--from silvery white to an antique off-white. It's not Glashütte Original or Dornblüth, but the dial looks comparable. 100% nicer looking in person. For the money I think it's a great value. The white dial looks fantastic too, but I'm obviously partial to the silver. No bad choice here.

If the silver dial of marine is the same like of my marine chronograph, really that i prefer the silver. Have a lot of nuances with different light

    Compare with differents lights

Agree. The silver really pops in person.

I feel the silver looks more formal.
