    MO Roman price drop

I'm a little slow on the uptake so it's only just now that I noticed that the Marine Original with Roman numerals is selling for 690 Euros on the Stowa website. I paid 870 Euros in July. It's a bit disappointing since any resale price is now decreased by around 180 Euros, and so quickly after buying.

Good news for those who haven't got theirs yet, though!

Maybe because the Euro closed at 1.402 today? Back in July it was way up there. Myself, I decided to stop buying my favorites, and just yesturday I told my wife it was safe to get my Stowa Christmas gift. Although I did tell here to ride the down fall of the Euro to the Dollar, and we would keep an eye on delivery times. I could be wrong, but I look for the European bailout to spike it once again, and the European bank is usually quick with interest rate adjusts to control it. I will probably have her buy it this week due to the factors above, and the time factor.

Just read my reply and it seems a little to vague. To sum it up, it could be due to persons such as myself holding off on purchases until things get back to normal. I will buy one soon, no matter what the economy looks like, as long as the exchange rate is favorable. Also the world European economy is not so great itself, and a bit of a price change could help sales a bit? All this is pure speculation. But what isn't is if you click on choose your options, the lowest price is 760 Euro.

Is yours brushed stainless? That increases the price. Did you get a black leather strap, or a metal bracelet? That increases the price too. Seems like a typo as well. Polished is 760 and brushed is 800 when you click through.

Yeah, I noticed that too. But I think it is an error on the US version of the site. If you go and click on the options under Roman MO you'll notice that all of the versions are more costly than the 690 euros you see on the first page of the marine series. Also check the EEU portion of the site and you'll see that the Roman is listed higher there.

I gort really excited yesterday when I saw that and almost ordered until I saw it was an error.

    Hello everybody,

the price of the marine Original roman is not lower.
(no chance - if the price for material changes than always more expensive )

The solution of the wrong price is a mistake from my side when i launched the MO roman to the shop.

I did the lowest price feature to 670.- Euros, which is wrong.

The price starts from 760.- Euro like you can see in the small ordermenu.

    Sorry for this small mistake.

STOWA always try to keep prices and quality.

We are not interested in doing confusion with prices and quality .-)

    Sorry for this mistake.

    Best regards
