    MO Roman, red XII

Here is my wish: Marine Original Roman with a red XII.

Here is a quick photoshop mockup I did.

In a similar vein: Does anyone know if the MO Arabic is available for purchase with a red 12? I saw a photo of one without the LE "xx/80" on the dial. Does this mean they will be available in the future? I missed the LE run and would love one with red 12.

I'm afraid the MO Roman is in my future, red or not. Anyone have any wrist shots of the Roman they can share? Brown vs. Black stap?

    Cheers!

The arabic MO without the ## on the dial is the prototype MOLE, i.e., number 00/80. AKAIK, there are no plans for any MOs with a red twelve other than the eighty(one) limited editions.

I think the red works on the Arabic, but not on the Roman. I'm of the opinion the Roman is the "dressier" version of the MO and having a red "XII" would only detract. Of course, what the heck do I know...
I once believed watch collecting was an acceptable vice.

    Ball(1), Breitling(1), Casio(2), Citizen(1), Hamilton(1), Seiko(3), Stauer(1), Stowa(1)

Yep, I sort of agree. The red arabic is nicer. Too bad a lot of us missed the LE. Maybe a previously owned one will show up...

We shouldn't try to transform patterns like that very often because the first product will loose its uniqueness.
There was a red 12 and my point of view is that we don' t need another red XII.

Jörg got a motto: We owe all progress to those who don't adept.

I think that replication at all costs does not pay on the long run, neither with Schauer nore with Stowa. However the photoshop job:

For Me the perfect watch would be:

    * MO with central seconds and Date

I Know you are going to say "the watch you want is the M Auto", and it really is, but I would love to have the movement of the MO (I could sacrifice the date function)

Then it would not be a Marine any more. What the Marine makes a Marine is the historical link to the Stowa Deck Watch. And there has to be a small second. What you want is.......another watch but not a Marine.Just my 2 cents.

    Go for a Marine Auto.
