    Mod to Marine original

I have a Marine Original, Love the watch

Does anyone know if you would be possible to have Stowa change the hands to put on the Fliege Sword hands instead of the original

    Would it work ?

The 6498 hands of the FO should perfectly fit, same movement, same pivot.
    Kind regards

Did you ever do this, or has anyone else? Would be curious to see a pic.

(sorry for the thread revival, but hey, at least I used the search feature, right?)

Yes, this is my first Stowa and I asked for a replacement of flieger's hands on a marine automatic when I placed the order.

    What a coincidence....

The Naf and wkw, thanks! I really like the look of that mod! It was a true coincidence that I just happened to bring this up. A Stowa caught my eye on the public forum yesterday and we all know that means I spent the next few hours searching and reading and researching :)

I know the regular hands on the Marine Original are temperature blued, and their color looks very similar to the Flieger Klassik hands. However, if I'm not mistaken, the custom above looks more like the hands from Ikarus because they are darker. Maybe they are still temperature blued, but to a darker degree, I'm not sure.
