    My first Stowa...the handwinding Flieger!

I couldn't wait to open the FedEx box when it came...my first Stowa! I was close to buying the automatic Flieger but I thought I should try this special handwinding Flieger. I love it! The only other flieger I have owned before was an Archimede this watch just feels so much better in quality and much better finished. I thought I would prefer the blued hands but the black hands look awesome too! It winds so smoothly and I was pleasantly surprised that the strap buckle was signed with the Stowa logo and script. My only quibble: I wish there was an option for an exhibition back. This won't be my last Stowa!

Re: My first Stowa...the handwinding Flieger!

I'm wearing my 2801 Special Edition right now. I actually prefer the solid case back - it wears extremely thin, and makes for a more exclusive Stowa flieger.

I need to fully check power reserve, but I got 42 hours yesterday before winding again. I'm happy with that!
