Looking at that lume shot I thought there was a scratch near the end of the seconds hand but it wiped off whatever it was. It is a 1 year old used watch so not pristine condition but close enough for me. Just needs gentle cleaning and then I might experiment with different straps as well. Let the honeymoon begin!

Looks lovely, congratz. What's your wrist size, if you don't mind me asking? I have 6in wrists and love the B-dial aesthetic, but I'm scared by the 40mm and 48mm lug to lug dimensions.

My wrist is about 7 1/4 inch. It looks bigger in the pictures than in person imo.

What a gorgeous watch, congrats! I’m hoping for a Stowa flieger soon, but I can’t decide between the Verus Top and the Classic 40mm. Does anyone know: Are the only differences between the two the blue hands and the decoration on the rotor?

It will be on the big side but if you like to wear big watches I think it should be ok.
I have a 6"25 wrist and wear several 40mm stowa (marines but they have the same case) and a flieger 41 (Unitas)

The dial and the case finish are also different.
The spirit is the same but the details differ a lot.

Yeah, I don't like big watches that much. I wear a 38mm Christopher Ward C60 Trident mk3 and I'm thinking more and more it might be a bit too big. This said, the CW is 2.5mm thicker and likely much heavier than the Stowa.

I guess the best course of action is to give it a try and return it in case I don't like how it fits.

Very cool watch indeed. I have become a no-date fan but I like how the date is handled in this design.
