My First Stowa Verus W&W LE

I'm not sure I've ever seen a Stowa watch in person before, but I was on the lookout for a Flieger of some sort (my tastes generally lean a bit a from pieces that are too traditional) and this popped up right as I sold another.

I'm generally partial to German watches, so it's surprising that I hadn't owned a Stowa before. I'm happy to say that I think this is pretty cool. I do find the packaging interesting if not a bit funny. When I opened the Fedex box and a slightly smaller Stowa labeled box came out I chuckled a bit. Kept hoping that there was a second watch in there, but I do think it makes for a neat presentation. Anyways, I've admired a lot of the Worn & Wound collaborations, but never been quite able to pull the trigger. I'll likely wear this to Windup this week, though I have a couple other participating brand watches that I could go with as well.

    A couple quick pics!

Congratulations on your first Stowa and that one is terrific . I popped my Stowa cherry only about a week and a half ago and I love it. I had the same reaction about the packaging which is a "tad" excessive? Enjoy!

I've been looking at Fliegers lately and so far the Verus appeals to me the most, partly because of the 40mm size, and the price. I like that they give you a date/date option too, and also the option to upgrade to a top finish movement.
Standard – adjusted in two positions; accuracy of +/-12 sec/day up to +/- 30 sec/day
Top – adjusted in five positions; accuracy of +/-4 sec/day up to +/- 15 sec/day
