Depends what you want it for, I think. The Airman is probably smart enough to wear with a suit, but the Antea will look more appropriate with one. The Antea will look fine with casual clothes, but the Airman is probably more sporty. Which look do you want? I have a black dialled Antea, because I wanted a dress watch, but I also have a Marine, which I wear for work as well. I so far haven't got an Airman, partly because I find having a date on the dial too useful.

If you are looking for the watch to wear to work and casual settings, I would go for the Antea. If you like the black dial, still for the Antea. The Antea offers a few different configurations like date or no-date.

If you are looking for something that is sportier and way more casual then the Airman, but I think the Antea would be a good choice for all occasions.

Both are great choices! I have both as well....:-D

The Antea is classic. If you want a date, this is your choice. It is also more "dressy" than the Airman. If you choose cream dial, make sure to get the blue hands! Looks great.

If lume means anything, the Airman is your choice. GREAT lume that lasts all night. Of all my watches, the Airman is lume-wise head and shoulders above the rest.

If I were you I would go for the Antea, and put the 120 euro you saved on an Airman in an account called "Archimede Pilot". With 120 euro, you are almost halfway (245 euro new) to getting watch that is very similar to the Airman. Presto: you have two great watches instead of one!

This is good advice! I have a black Antea with date (as said, I rely on having a date on my watch), and an Archimede Pilot, which is a great watch!

I'd buy the Antea because I already have a flieger. Moreover the Antea is my favourite bauhaus style watch, and the lowest priced of them too.
