New Marine Original with roman numbers

    Hello guys,

some of you can be interested by the pictures of the new MO.

I received it yesterday so feel free to visit the presentation post I made on my native forum.

    http://forumamontres.forumactif.com/...man-t40219.htm

    Pictures page 1 and 2

For the non french speaking people, I'm very pleased with the quality of the whole product (case, movement, strap, etc...).

    Best regards,

    Fred.

Most excellent pictures, just like you I like mine quite a lot (just received it Monday). I agree with the suggestion about putting it on a brown croco strap, been thinking about how that would look.

Félicitations! Can you post more pictures? I wonder if you can try to capture the varnished dial. Merci!

Re: New Marine Original with roman numbers

I haven't had a chance to take any more pictures besides the ones in the thread I started: https://forums.watchuseek.com/showthread.php?t=179115, and my digital camera is not that terribly good. I'd like to get a picture of the dial finish, but think that with the camera gear I have it's not really going to happen. Malheuresement. (hopefully that's spelled correctly, been a long time since I spoke / wrote french....)

    Hello Dre,

    did you time your watch?

Mine takes something like 15 seconds a day. It seems a bit too much, compared to what the Unitas can offer.

Do you confirm or am I just unlucky?

    Thanks in advance,

    Fred.

ps : Malheureusement. you just missed a "u"

Over the last 24 hours, mine ran +11 sec.

I am happy with that as this is not a daily wear watch - when it's not being worn it sits in the watch box stopped. When I want to wear it I wind it and set it.

Check out the FAQ sticky thread. There is a good explanation for why your watch is running fast.
