The design of this Partitio, as you all know already, dates back to 1938 and was - as usual at that time - created in Pforzheim / Germany.
    Kind regards

    Yes, I saw this too.

As you probably know, this 41mm model with small seconds was announced by Stowa about a year ago already.

Good to see it finally materialize, but my excitement for it has since faded a bit...

Re: New release: Stowa Partitio 41 Small Second

To me the Partitio works as a small tool watch. Had they used the ETA7001, it could have had small seconds, handwinding, and been THIN (~ 7 mm?). Not a fan of this version.

It's a very nice watch, but I'd like to see a central seconds version in this case. Not a huge fan of the seconds subdial.

I cannot say I am fan of this version either. What do you think of the original Partitio as a dress watch of sorts?

Dressy casual, to me. The Antea 355 works better as pure dress because it’s so thin. Or the small Marine Klassik?

Glad to see I am not the only one not enamored by this version. Also - if the point of the Partitio is easy reading, why would you opt for small seconds (logan2z just noted that, I see).

I have to agree. Just doesn’t do it for me.

Loving the Blau though! (Not my pic, but I have the watch)

I wonder what the lug-to-lug length is. Most 6497/6498 are a little big for smaller wrists.

    Anyone have an idea?

Re: New release: Stowa Partitio 41 Small Second

When done right, I do like small seconds sub-dials. In my mind it all has to do with placement, and I think this one misses that mark. The increase in size I think will make this lose the charm that the original has.
