    New strap for the MO...

I have a polished MO and have always worn it with the OEM strap which I feel gave it a more casual look. I am looking to give it a more dressy look by getting a new strap.

See below for a pic of what I have come up with so far as my first choice...I am looking for something different than the typical gator dress strap.

    Any feedback would be great...

    :thanks

Interesting. I have a MO LE, and have warmed to the OEM strap, but also think I will put something else on at some point. Mine is brushed, not polished, so I have to factor that in.

I think the bands you posted are very nice and might look good on many watches, but I think they are too "busy" relative to the simple and functional face of the MO.

I too am trying to avoid the staples, croc, gator, etc.

I have to look at it a bit more to see if it will work with brushed case, but I have seen some pics with the Stowa melanise bracelet that look very enticing.

Al that really matters is if you think it will work for you. The straps do look very nice.

EDIT: Here is the link to a current thread, that has tons of nice pictures of the MO on a variety of straps and the bracelet I mention. https://forums.watchuseek.com/showthread.php?t=155049

If you're looking for leather but not alligator or croc, you might want to take a look at premium calf or "buffalo" grain straps. DeBeer has a really nice looking one called the Sport, I believe.

    Good luck!

There was a MO for sale on TZ not that long ago, on a Riva strap. It looks sharp, IMO:

Thanks for the pic I had a feeling it would look nice but just was not sure...that picture sealed the deal I think.

Only bad thing is that it is a 22/20 strap and the OEM strap from Stowa is a 22/18 so I can not use the Stowa Deployant with it...but I can always move that over to my Antea which just has a standard Stowa buckle on it now
