Newbie here - saying hello and love'n my Stowa

    Greetings

Not new to watch collecting but new to German pieces. Have been seeking out a solid, reliable well made German Fleiger for quite a while. Passed on Laco, Sinn, Junkers, Archimedes and a few others. Then I finally decided to place an order for an Airman Original and was given a June '09 delivery. So I wanted to find a pre-owned Airman to keep me happy until next year.

This week I scored a mint cond. Airman Auto LE (71/80) off of the TZ SC. I am one happy camper. This watch not only looks fantastic (superb build quality), it is one of the most comfortable watches I have ever worn. It keeps amazingly accurate time and the lume is unbelievable. I own a variety of Swiss pieces, some costing 5 times as much but none are any more satisfying to wear than this non-logo Auto Stowa. A true bargain in the watch world. I'm a convert!
    Cheers all...
    Randy

Awesome! Congrats. Makes me even more excited...I am receiving my no-logo Airman in a couple of weeks

Hello RC, congrats on your watch(es)! It's always good to read/hear comments from owners-I'm waiting for an airman auto....I'm told it's shipping soon. I saw one in the flesh/steel and it sure looks good!

Great watch, that Airman. Enjoy it well.

However...you will have to post some images to ensure we get to vicariously enjoy the watch as much as you do.

Otherwise, it might not have happened - not that we don't believe you actually have the watch!

    Congrats and welcome.

I agree, my FO is a very comfortable watch. Was on the wrist 3 days this week. :)
