Official STOWA news_we have add new Chrono 1938 pictures ;)

    Helo everybody,

here are some new Chrono 1938 pictures.

    In our new picture standard.

The 1938 bronze chrono has a grey crocostrap.

The 1938 black a handwinded movement (basic movement Valjoux 7750 and we do a special bridge for this and change automatic to handwinded parts).

    More STOWA Chronographs.

    Bye for now.

Don't like the mix of lettering.

Bronze auto: Old logo on dial, new logo on rotor and buckle.
Black: Old logo on dial and bridge, new logo on buckle.

Sorry to say, but thismis somehow irresolute.
    Kind regards
    Mike

    Dear Mike,

you are right - but this are the first fresh pictures, we have to optimize this of course and we will do in the next days ,)

Anyway, the Old Logo dials gets old logo buckles of course but new Logo rotors for the moment because we are waiting for new ones with the old Logo.

Why the old Logo on this dials and not the new one?

We want to change as well but at the moment is no engraver available to make new tools to embosse.

It sounds easy, but to make this tools you need a lot of time and specialists.

We will change in the future not know exactly when.

Thanks for your well seen small "wrong details" ;)

    Bye for now

    Jörg

I love the implementation of a manual winding movement. A classy addition in a market without a lot of manual winding chronograph options.

Absolutely gorgeous watch. I'd get one in a heartbeat if it was smaller. Awfully long lugs (>50mm) for a 41mm watch, and the hand-wind version (which is 250 euros more expensive) doesn't seem to be any thinner. At least for me, if you could cut the lugs down to about 47mm and thin it by 1-2mm, it would be perfect. That dial is a work of art, love the pushers, and the date window is one of the best executions I've seen.

I'm not a fan of chronographs, but seeing the black dial and the case back makes me wanna get one now! Time to munch on instant noodles to save the funds

Would have liked to get a grey strap for my MOBLE, to bad it was de-listed / not available when it was shipped a few days ago.
