Schauer One hand watch . . . Yum!!!

Really like the one hand Schauer watch.

I am unable to find any reviews, 3rd party pictures, information on price, movement, etc. etc. Anyone on the forum with this insight, thoughts, reviews.

I understand these were made in limited numbers - does that mean new ones don't exist?

Also, what are other comparable one-hand watches out there?

Apart from the Schauer, which is magnificent, Meistersinger does a few different versions of a one handed watch.
I've also have one form Fortis, a limited edition "Art Model", by German Architect Rolf Sachs:

Reading it takes a bit of getting used to, but its good for the eyes!

Yes I can see Fortis may be a little tough. On the other hand that is exactly so nice about a Schauer - its easy to read with minute markets in between the hour markers.

Any other makers who do this, as nicely?

I am the happy owner of a Meistersinger (automatic, ETA). Beautiful made, easy to read. (An other Meistersinger 1Z (handwound, Unitas) is on the wishlist.)

    Greetings, W

This the classic Stuffler Whip (sweesh!) - usually comes to those who avoid the ever easy searh function of the forum . . .

And you will find my posts on the Schauer Phantom that I bought off this forum, with photos.

Nice watches if a "one hand" is what you want!!

Does any one know about these watches? Other than the skinny hand, they don't seem too difficult to read with minute markers.

    US AD? $$?

Some of the other watches are very beautiful. Think watchbuys is a AD in US, but does not show some of the great looking watches from this company. All 4 on the page below are amazing!!!

Yes, me ! I posted pictures from this watch on the forum general. It's absolutely not difficult to read the hour on this watch.Good watch.
The communication with this watchmaker is very difficult. But theses watches have a "spirit".
