Hi members. I am looking for my next purchase. The reason for the question is that I am a Stowa Flieger owner- and the watch punches above its weight class by a huge margin. And I am totally in love with the design. That being said does the Schauer watch range offer the same value for money spent. I can easily see the Stowa costing double at a dealer and the buyer still getting a good deal.
Schauer is certainly a step up in design and finishing from what I can see-with some mayor exclusivity thrown in. But how robust are they- is it a daily wearer? Are they worth the big step up in price from the Stowa Chrono's? It SEEMS the changes on the movements are pretty similar to what is done on the Stowa's.
I really like the look of the edition 10 and 12's but are they worth the extra money- we are moving into some bigger prices here and some top end watches can be had on the 2nd hand market for that money. The Kleine Schauer One hand at that price point would have been a no brainer for me if it was a 40-42mm size.
