This really gets me anxious about sending in any watch for service. That being said, it's better than if something internal, like the hands or scratched dial, was blemished. I hope they do the right thing and take care of this for you in the end. Good luck

I always feel that good customer service is less about getting things right every time (though it helps), and is more about how things are handled when they go wrong.
By that measure, good work by Stowa. It does sound quite mysterious.
Just wanted to add one final update that I received my Partitio back yesterday and they were true to their word. I will definitely be buying another watch from Stowa in the future.
