    Seatime Caseback Question

Online shop has Seatime w/ a display caseback. Was this watch ever offered with a steel caseback? I believe the one I'm looking at was purchased in 2006 and has "No. 047" engraved on the back.

    Thanks,
    Rick

The Watchbizz Limited Edition had had a total run of 75 pieces. If I recall correctly all came with a display back.

    Re: Seatime Caseback Question

After additional archive searching, it looks like this watch was offered (but not any more?) with a choice of a massive caseback or display back. If the massive caseback option was chosen, it looks like you could get the display caseback in the future. Not sure if it is still available. None of the articles/reviews detailing this watch mentioned a limited edition, but the casebacks were numbered....maybe this was just a serial number?

    Re: Seatime Caseback Question

The mentioned Seatime has the serial dial.
Mike's watch abvove shows the limited edition's number dial.

Today the Seatime is only available with a display back but till 2007 it was also available with a solid caseback.

However the number is a bit curious as current watches don't show a serial number.

Nevertheless regarding the price what are you waiting for?
Without the 20% VAT to add when reimporting to Germany I would have pushed the button already

Rick is right, I read over "engraved on the back", the LE I mentioned was engarved on the left side of the case. Sorry if I confused someone.
