Sell 2 Fliegers to acquire Professional DIN?

    Hi all,

I've really been digging the new Professional DIN flieger but the watch box is full - have a 40mm A dial, a 40mm B dial and a 42mm 2 hand A dial - would you trade 2 traditional fliegers to acquire this new modern version?

I wear the 40mm A dial the least, keeping the B dial makes the most sense but I probably wear the 42mm A dial the most as I like the case size and simplicity of the overall watch.

Hmmmmmm what would you do if you were in my shoes?

Too many traditional Flieger's. I'd sell at least one of the A dials. Personally I'd rather keep the 40mm A dial but each to their own.

Anyway it's your collection so don't get bogged down on which is more historically accurate or which will please the WIS the most. Like I've said before it's not as if the WIS police is gonna stop you on the road and tell you that you shoulda kept the other one Keep the one you like the most, get rid of the other two and definitely get the Flieger professional. That thing is bad ass!

No. What you have would do the trick for me, I don't see the new one as a substantial upgrade. On the other hand, I would only need one flieger, so since I'd likely flip to get to oneanyway, trading might make some sense.

Flieger A and B is quite a watch as there are very versatile. It's your call tho since u seldom wear the A Dial, it's your call to sell it to raise funds for professional. Personally I am not convinced by the professional. And if you do purchased one. Pls have a reviews and lots of pics.

I wouldn't do so. The Professional DIN is a huge watch. With 46,6 mm in diameter and 54,30 mm lug to lug it wears different compared to 40 or 41 mm and for sure it isn't made for everybody's wrist.

The 40mm A dial is quite easy to find second if you have regrets selling it and might be the easiest to sell.
My wrists are way too small for the DIN so I fortunately will never have to do your choice.

Thanks for the replies have to ponder this one more, also have a Seatime on bracelet and a Prodiver on rubber which fit me fine, didn't realize the lug to lug on this one though.

Would love to try one on to see how it fits, very unique design and quite unlike anything else out there.

If I pull the trigger I will report back...

I absolutely would do it. Sell the 40mm A dial (you already have one in 42mm) and sell the B dial (this design in 40mm looks overcrowded). Get a unique, advanced, modern pilot to go along with your traditional piece.

Looking forward to seeing what you decide.
