Does anyone here recently had issues having a watch serviced straight at Stowa? I have sent my Marine Original in early November last year and got a detailed estimate on November 19, with the exact cost and an expected delivery time of 4 to 6 weeks. I reached for them in late December to inquire about the state of the repair and got an automated message saying that a representative would get back at me as soon as possible. I got back to them on January 22 as I still haven't heard of them and got the same automated message. Moreover, it is taking twice as long as initially expected and they are silent about what is going on.
That goes agaisn't previous experiences with them where everything was fast, efficient and very transparent. I just hope that this is an isolated issue.
