Picture Some quick shots of FOLE #16

Had to make some time to capture a few snapshots of this highly anticipated timepiece that arrived Monday. It is superbly crafted, beats strongly and accurately and is a beauty to behold. I'll post some artsy images when there's some daylight. Thank you Mr Jörg Schauer, Ms Viveca Hafner and the entire Stowa team! This is a great, classic, timepiece

    Obligatory wrist shot

    Lume shortly thereafter

    Exquisite marking

    Well-decorated movement, superb caseback

    Lume burns brightly

Spectacularly easy to read in very low light

    You were absolutely right, Hary

Congratulation! What a beautiful piece especially this is LE version. You are #16 on the list and they just delivered now? It must be a really LONG wait! But it is definitely worthy the wait. I missed the LE version and I will hopefully receive my serial one with the next few weeks.

    The 41mm (45.2 w/crown) diameter is excellent.

When sizing a watch the biggest concern for me is the lug to lug height. 50mm is about maximum for my wrist, the exact measurement of the FOLE.

Because the lugs taper down towards the wrist, it provides a wonderful fit when the strap is just barely snug. It stays put and looks like it belongs there.
