Just joined the forum, sorry for starting a new thread. I will move it to elsewhere if necessary!
Found this vintage Stowa at a local jewelry shop, possible dating back to WWII (according to the owner).
Anyone please help me decide if this is worth getting? (any thing suspicious from the pictures? the movement especially)
    Thank you very much!

I'd date it pre WWII. Worth getting ? Based on the overall condition it is in you need to think about the costs for repair. An overhaul will not burn a large hole into your pockets. However, I 'd search on ebay for a better kept Stowa.
    Kind regards

Thanks! I definitely value its history than its condition. I can service the movement myself while having NO IDEA how to restore the case/prevent it from further erosion. So no problem with its movement whatsoever?

Those cases were made out of brass and got a chrome layer. You need to re-chrome it though. The hands need to be re-fitted with tritium. Crown does not seem to be the original one. Good luck with your project.

Depends on what you want it for. If you like it, get it.
