Square holes, round holes, no pegs?

I've noticed that some Seatimes have a square date window and others have a round date window. Anyone have an idea as to why?

Well, I think you are refering to some Seatimes (btw. is it Seatimes or Seatimers :-D ) out of the limited edition especially made for memebers of the German watch forum www.watchbizz.de : http://www.stowa.de/Kollektion/Seati...bizzforum.html
Link is german but you see the different dial versions.

The Prodivers have round date window only.

    Hope this answer your question.

Actually the square window I was referring to was Extrooper's yellow chronometer.

Well, afaik the "Yellow Chronometer" is a special edition (not a limited though) and only available with the square date window. The limited PINK is only available with rounded date window.

The WUS LE comes "round" too:

Maybe I stand corrected, if so Jörg will let us know.

Like Mike said, the Yellow Chronometer is a "Special Edition." Besides the square date window, it also has a highly decorated movement, a display back, and is a COSC-certified chronometer.
