    Stowa Antea arrived..a few pics.

After many delays and 4 months late the watch finally arrived in 2 business days from Germany to California. It was definitely worth the wait.

    A few pics. :D

    big big box

    a lot of stuff

    very clean and minimalistic

I don't know if an Eta 2824 can get any prettier

Each certified chronometer is numbered on the movement.

Yes it is a happy day alright and although I didnt participate in any lovefest back in the 60's with the flower children, I am feelin the love right now for the Antea.

I think I might have been the last shipment sent out before the friends at Stowa went on vacation...the Antea Creme is a very nice watch.

Very nice... really clean look. How would you rate the feel and finishing on the watch? I never seen one in the flesh before but have one ordered as everyone seems to have nothing but good things to say about the quality of the watch. Pics look perfect but nothing like actually handling one

Can't wait for mine, hope the guys are still on schedule... when they get back from holidays...

It has a nice feel. Not real heavy and I actually like the lightness of it. I'm not sure what the actual weight of the watch is. The finish is more polished than I realized, but I like it. A high quality finish.

The watch was orginally scheduled for April but they had delays, in moving, dial production delays, and COSC movement delays. The movements just came in about 2 weeks ago. But it gave me plenty of time to play golf while waiting patiently. Watch was ordered late December 08.

I have the non-COSC version on order (supposed to be arriving sometime in September). Yours looks great -- now I'm really looking forward to mine!
