    Stowa Flieger GMT- questions

    Hi
Long time lurker, first time poster…
I've been captivated by Stowa for awhile now and have zeroed in on the Flieger GMT. I'm apprehensive about the size. I've read many threads here and elsewhere about the size and even made a template. 7" wrist, largest watch to date is 41mm.
I'm not sure this is kosher, but- Is there anyone in MN (USA) or nearby who would be willing to let me try one on? (The Testaf TO1 would work also).
I'm also interested in owners' comments about the every day wearability of the GMT or Testaf. When a watch grabs ahold of me, I tend to wear it for long stretches regardless of the occasion.
Thanks in advance for any help,

    Tommywine0

I was the happy owner of a beautiful Flieger GMT limette with my skinny 6" wrist and was just fine, the design is amazing and very comfortable on the wrist.
With a 7" wrist I'd still have it!

    Cheers

Here's To1 on my 7inch wrist, I think 7inch wrist is very fine with To1 or GMT.

    Yes debasercl-
I observed from the sidelines while you sold your GMT in Oct. It's a beauty! Was convinced at the time only the GMT in orange would do, now the Limette has also grown on me. I'm afraid I'll be kicking myself for my inaction on your watch….

It should be a good fit for you.

TO1 on my 6.5" wrist. The picture shows 3 different strap combo: Top left and right pictures show a canvas strap, bottom left is the stock rubber strap, and the bottom right is a leather strap. It's Perfectly wearable. The picture makes it looked larger than it really is. I find it with a thinner strap it wears bigger than with a thicker strap on the wrist, which I personally prefer.

The wearability is superb. Titanium case makes this watch really comfortable to wear. This is a all-round watch for any occasions. With a subtle leather strap can transform this watch into a really elegant and stealth watch which looks perfectly fine even with a formal dress code. Pair it with a sharp rubber or canvas strap this watch is a great casual watch on a relaxing day.

Keep in mind that the caseback of the GMT is a bit thicker than the TO1, which might makes it wear slightly different, but IMO both should wear almost the same.

    Thanks Senna!
Didn't catch the diff in case back thickness between the GMT and TO1. On looks alone, was drawn to the TO1, but I really need the date function so turned to the GMT.
    Thanks for all the pictures.

    Jeez Hidden,
Was jealous enough after your first post! Now I see you have both the TO1 and GMT!
Do they have a "bowing down to you" emoticon?
thanks to everyone who posted pictures!

Its two very different watch tho, different soul and functions.

I takeover the GMT from Diego and fit it with an orange strap to make it more cheerful. But i do agreed with Diego, its a nice watch and a lot of presence on the wrist.

As for the jealous, u dont have to, because i can see you buying one very soon.

    Cheers
