    Stowa Flieger Ohne Logo Case

    Hello everybody,

I've got a question about the flieger case.
I just bought one from somebody and i've noticed a littledent in the case.
Or it seems to a dent, but it also could be some sort of slot like you see on a press caseback.
But this time it's on the front between the bezel and case at the 6.

I've tried to get it on picture.

Is this how it suposed to be or maybe a manufacture fault?

It doesn't bother me very much, but just curious

    best regards,

    Marco

It's normal. The gap is there for the watchmakers to remove the bezel. Enjoy your Flieger!

Thanks, that was my first thought, but the previous owner didn't notice it and didn't know. I did notice and just wanted to know for sure.

Better pictures will come soon, but first the original strap has to arive :)
    best regards,

    Marco

Yup. Just checked my brand new Stowa and it has the same feature. Thanks for pointing this out.

    Dear mcfr,

    Thank you for your post.

Please note, that the "gap" at the 6 o´clock position in the case is on each and every case of our watches. (besides the Marine Original) This "gap" has following technical background:

Its function is to open the case (for cleaning the movement or for repair) easily for the watchmaker without making scratches to the case surface.

We can guarantee, that this "gap" is only a technical purpose and not a production error or a defect.

    Best Regards

    Jörg, thanks for your reply.
Now i took the Antea Kleine sekunde and noticed the gap on that one aswell, i never saw that one before.
Nice feature and great watches. Very happy with both of them.
