    Stowa pricing on website

Just a note to anyone who may be considering purchasing a watch from Stowa, their pricing (at least on the English site) sometimes lists prices as "including V.A.T." while others say "plus V.A.T."...it used to always be "plus V.A.T.". I kept thinking they had a pricing increase.

Btw, V.A.T. is 19% (and can be significant) but obviously does not apply outside of the EU.

Yes, I think their wording can lead to a bit of confusion.

Jörg opened a thread here some months ago to ask some testing for the VAT.
The website is supposed to show you "including VAT" if you are from the EU and thus showing the real price you have to pay.

This system is not perfect and doesn't always work.

Understood...but I first visited Stowa's website after that thread was started and it's always shown the price as "plus VAT" for me...until now...only saw it start happening recently. Just wanted to give everyone a head's-up.

Don't worry, I didn't mean that you had to knowthe reason.
I guess it's still a work in progress.

So the website isn't showing different pricing anymore. But after speaking with Jorg, he said he made no changes, lol. Perhaps it was just a glitch. Was the second time I saw it though. Oh well.

Just noticed when looking (English version in US), The Flieger Klassik Chrono is listed as 1537,82 under the Flieger section, but as 1830,00 in the Chrono section. Clicking on both links to the 1537,82 price. I sent Stowa a email to let them know, but perhaps I am seeing something wrong.

    Re: Stowa pricing on website

1830,00 is including the German VAT (19%) and 1537,82 is without the VAT.
The website is supposed to show you the price with/out VAT depending on the country you are located (and whether you should or not pay the VAT).
