    Stowa seatime & prodiver...

Hello,i would like to ask who makes the case and bracellette of STOWA SEATIME & prodiver?
Also i would like to ask about the general fit and finish of those watches...
Is the fit better than SINN U1?
Is it comparable to OMEGA PLANET OCEAN???
I am thinking of getting one STOWA,but SINN U1 is a very strong competitor...
    Which is better???
    Thanks in advance!!!

I can't answer who makes the case and bracelet but I have read rumors that it is from Fricker but I have not seen any specific confirmation.

I can tell you that the fit and finish is spectacular, especially at the price level. I have a Seatime as well as a U1 and they are comparable in fit and finish but they are apples to oranges IMO. Both "tool" divers yes but the Sinn adds the submarine steel and the tegimented bezel as well as AR on both sides of the crystal (which I do not like because it scratches).
The Stowa adds a changeable bezel and a classy dial. The lume is better on my Stowa than on my Sinn. My Seatime is on leather and my Sinn on rubber so I cannot comment on the bracelets.

The Planet Ocean is much more of a dress diver and the fit and finish is a bit better but the price is almost double the most expensive Seatime Pro Diver on bracelet or U1 on bracelet. The Omega also adds the co-axial movement based on the ETA 2892 which, along with the brand mystique and easy recognition plus the AD network, adds to the price.

The Sinn is a Top Grade ETA 2824 and the Stowa is an Elabore 2824 to my understanding. Both of my watches keep excellent time.

Better???? Impossible for me to tell you. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them but this being the Stowa forum and being the truthful sort I am, the Seatime is a SPECTACULAR value and you will NOT be disappointed if you already like the look of it.

If it is that difficult go for the one which is most appealing to you.
    Kind regards

The Seatime is a fine quality piece but does not compare to the Planet Ocean

as far as the Sinn, i own the 857 UTC tegimented and the Stowa does not compare to it either.
All three are in a separate league IMO.

Planet Ocean being a safe queen out of the 3, lol.

    Hope that helps

They are all good watches that tell time. Which one do you like better? Maybe you should just go out and try some watches on instead of writing messages in all CAPS.

This is all too fun! HCGOPIN23 it seems to me that you are having trouble making up your mind as to what you want and are trying to get someone else to do it for you! If you get on line and go to the right places you will find info on the watches you are interested in. This site and its members are Stowa fans and can help give you advice on Stowa watches. I am sure that if you go to the LONGINES site they will be able to help you with any questions you may have regarding that brand!
