    Stowa Seatime Vintage Diver

    Hi all,

I got myself a vintage Seatime from eBay and have a couple of question you might be able to answer. First have a look on those pictures.

The dail and case as well as the movement are in a good condition. The only thing that worries me is the bezel. It is made of plastic and pretty worn out. It does not click and can be moved in both directions. Do you think the bezel is an original part for this model? Is it possible to get a replacement from Stowa? If not do you know any sources where I can get a new bezel?

    Thanks alot guys!

    Cheers

    Hi ElGreco,

    congrats on that watch .
You got it for a really decent price from Duisburg, didn't you?! (I forgot to bid in time on that watch . Now I'm happy that a member of this forum got it.)

    - The bezel is a genuine part for these sort of watches.
    - It even didn't click when it was new.
    - No, I don't believe you can get a new one from Stowa.

Please give me 3 measurements: Inner diameter, inner diameter including the step's width, outer diameter.
Some time ago I was lucky and could purchase a small box with about thirty different bezels from the seventies in all conditions: NOS, like new and really worn out. Please contact me through PM (with your email-address) and I will send you some pics by email.

Here you can see other "Seatimes" with worse and better bezels:

The one in the left (upper watch) has a bezel with nearly nothing to read at and the lower one got the same case as your watch.

    Hi Volker,

thanks for your quick reply. You got PM . By the way, where did you get the nylon strap on the very right side of your pic?

Since the fake leather strap which came with that watch did not look so good I ordered this one:

    and this Stowa buckle:

    What do you think gentlemen?

    Cheers,

    ElGreco
