    Stowa service experience

    I must share this story.

I recently lost a back screw for my 8 month old Flieger Auto. I was worried, so I emailed Stowa for a suggestion on what to do. Ms. Schauer wrote me back within 24 hours assuring me that seal of the watch was still fine, so not to worry. She then offered to not only send me a replacement screw, but also to pay for the installation of that screw by my watchmaker!

I gladly accepted the screw and told her that I would take care of the rest. I got a letter today from Germany containing two screws and a nice note.

How many companies these days of any type would provide this type of personal service? How many watch companies would offer send you the part rather than insist that you send the watch to a repair center or back to the manufacturer for a simple screw installation?

This is why we love and support Stowa!

Agreed. This is probably the overwhelming reason I will buy a Stowa. Not to take away from the craftsmanship and history; just that this trait is what sold me.
