    Stowa Service Help

My awesome Flieger Classic 40 with 2801 movement is having issues with the power reserve, i.e. less than 24 hours. What is the best option for servicing it? Should I send it across the pond to Stowa for service? Thanks in advance for all the advice.

I am also interested to know.

I am curious how people deal with not having tax & duty applied both ways.

Like Stowa don’t want to be charged for a watch they are going to service... and I wouldn’t want to pay the same tax & duty as when I first ordered it, when it makes its way back to me.

Contact Stowa. They will tell you how to fill out the forms (I had to return my marine auto to them a few years ago).

Any skilled watchmaker should be able to service a standard ETA 2801. if it is still under Stowa warranty proceed as advised by our members here.
    Kind regards

it is a ETA movement. I would find a reputable local service provider.
