    Stowa "Swiss EB"?

I am considering a vintage Stowa that I have found for my wife. Beautiful watch, but the dial has an oddity to it. Below the 6 it shows "Swiss EB" rather than "Germany" the watch is supposedly approx. 40 years old.

    Is this possible?

Probably the swiss stands for "ebauche" and indicates that swiss basic movement components are used.
