Unhappy Strange noise while winding my MO

I have winded my Marine Original until the crown stopped turning.
I have heard a "klack" three or four times before it was fully winded.
Do you know what can cause that noise?

Any ideas of what is happening? I've had the watch for 10 days (arrived the 18th) and I've handled it carefully

Did it make the klacking noise early, middle or late in the winding process? Maybe it is just normal operation when the spring gets fully wound, and the crown continues to be turned. Just guessing, and hoping an experienced owner will offer some insight.

Middle, before the crown stops turning (= before the spring gets fully wound). I am going to test the watch a few more days and if the problem persists I will send it back to Stowa to be repaired.

Good luck, I'm sure it will turn out fine.

The watch seems to be running fine (I did not send it back to Stowa). Anyway I'm not worried with a two-year warranty

My next acquisition will be a Chinese watch with a clone 6497 movement. Once serviced I will compare its accuracy with the Stowa's genuine Swiss movement.

Btw, the accuracy of my MO is quite good. The watch has gained 160 seconds in 5 weeks (average: +4,3 secs/day).
