    An unexpected delivery

A couple of days ago, I happened upon a posting in the for sale forum here with the exact Flieger I had on order - band, crown, arms. Everything was exactly as I had wanted it but this one also has COSC certification. And the seller was in NC, about 1 hour away from me. The price was right, so I jumped on it. Bought it yesterday and arrived today with just priority shipping. It couldn't have worked out better for me.

    Here she is:

I've got a relatively small wrist, so the 40mm face fits perfectly. It was more than I ever thought I'd spend on a watch and probably more than I ever will again, but it's been a busy year for me and my practice, so I think I can splurge. After all, it's not like the stock market is doing anything worth watching these days... At least my watch will be nice to look at. :) That lume photo is totally unenhanced. It's that bright.

A day after setting it to the atomic clock (about 23 hours ago), and I've only lost 2 seconds.

Congrats. These are really beautiful watches. Yours is a very similar story to how I came to own my B-dial - one came up for sale exactly how I was planning to order it, including the straps I wanted, so I jumped on it:

Many congrats are going to torifile on that classy watch!

Two questions are going to Mike: WHERE is Nessie? She isn't drowned, is she?

Well, can't answer this question due to a lack of concrete knowledge - but after some glasses of "single malt single cask scotch whisky" there's not only one Nessie.

Am I right in thinking that is the 'stock' movement and not the chrono upgrade?
    Are we there yet...?

No, that is the chronometer upgrade (it's not spelled out on the rotor, if that's what you are thinking). The main visual cue is the heavy perlage on the plates, but the tapered spokes of the glucydur balance wheel, and the incabloc shock protection system above that is the dead giveaway.
