Vintage 1930 Stowa - Never worn (supposedly)

Poking around on the Bay, and saw this.

If the claim of never worn is true, seems like a cool find. Not affiliated with this in anyway, but thought some here might find it interesting if for nothing else, the pictures of the movement.

That is gorgeous! Tiny though as the vintage pieces often are...would love to see a reissue in the 40-42mm range. That dial style and hand combo is just spectacular.

If I were a betting man I'd say that's a redial...amongst other things the lettering doesn't look right to me.

The price is also quite the stretch for a design that isn't associated with the Stowa brand...

Nah, I've owned tons of vintage stuff from that era including a 1940's Stowa. I'm willing to bet that's all original. I have a 1930's Omega that has a similar kind of design ethos. It is typical of the period.

I think that's the second or third time that watch has been listed. I could have sworn the BIN price was a lot less the first time, but I could be wrong.

    It's a nice piece.

Me think the price is a bit ambitious. I would not pay that much, regardless it is a very rare watch.
