    Vintage STOWA, automatic, 1960s

    Hi Folks,

i shot a beatuful vintage Stowa automatic wristwatch at the bay.
Brought it to the watchsmith last week who did a quite good job on the AS 1748 movement..
it runs 2 seconds fast a day...
The watch also got a new armed plastic glas and a new leather...
its 36mm X 36 mm, and suitable for daily wear...

how do you like the beauty?

    greetings, Fabian

Nice watch! Scary closeups of your wrist though. You need to moisturize!

Beautiful watch! Can I recommend you use a host like Photobucket though? Those popups in your current image host are really annoying.

    yes it is, indeed.
I likke particularly the brushed finish on top very much...

btw, the caseback is screwed with a anniverary gravur from a famous german steel company... so i think it was no junk-watch at that time..

im quite happy with it and love the winding sound of the automatic as 1748.. havent read much about that, tough..

    greetings,
    Fabian
