Visit the Stowa factory - what to do in the area?

    Hi there,

I'm thinking about organising a road trip to the Stowa factory from the UK. I've got some holiday to use up and quite like the idea of a road trip. If anyone has been to the area before, do you have any recommendations on sights to see or roads to drive?

    Thanks, Shareef.

Junghans have a museum in Schramberg, about 1.5 hours drive south of Pforzheim. And Heidelberg is supposed to be very nice, about 1 hour north of Pforzheim.

Others: Accurist World Time Chronograph | Mondaine solar powered | Omega Seamaster 'Calypso' | Orient Blue Mako | Orient CVZ0001B ana-digi | Reena WeatherMaster VII

Google "Black Forest", enough for a 2-week-stay.
"Schmuckwelten" in Pforzheim. Maybe a visit to the Ickler company (A visit to Uhrenmanufaktur Ickler GmbH)

    Driving: Schwarzwaldhochstraße

Organising a "road trip" means you like to drive a car.
Only 50 km is the distance between Engelsbrand and the two famous museums of Porsche and Mercedes in Stuttgart.

    Have a good ride,

If you decide to visit Heidelberg don't take the Autobahn, drive there throug the lovely Neckar valley.
